Garden Girls Round Top Recap
As the spring Round Top Antique Show closes, we're already counting down to October's fall show. This spring, our Garden Girls team enjoyed three events that capture our essence: vintage garden treasures, storytelling, and community building.
Hunting for Vintage Garden Treasures
We spent a day doing what we love most—hunting for unique garden artifacts with history. Round Top's fields offered weathered terracotta pots, antique garden tools with perfect patina, and statues from gardens past.
We were drawn to vintage pieces — old trellises, weathered stone birdbaths, and garden benches that seemed to hold countless conversations. Our favorite finds were several greenhouses that inspired ideas for client properties.

Sharing Garden Stories at Kim Hoegger's Farmhaus Dinner
At sunset, we gathered at Kim Hoegger's farmhaus for an evening centered on "The Stories Gardens Tell." The dinner table, adorned with fresh flowers and heirloom vegetables, provided the perfect setting.
We discussed gardens as living time capsules reflecting personal journeys, family traditions, victory gardens to today's home gardening revival.

Memorial High School Fundraiser at Jill Oliver's Home
Our highlight was co-hosting a fundraiser with nine other parents from Memorial High School at Jill Oliver's home. Fifty guests gathered in her garden's spring abundance.
Jen harvested flowers from her garden that morning, creating a true garden-to-table experience. Guests received Garden Girl goodie bags with seeds and dibbers, hat bands and snacks. They enjoyed grilled chicken salad on fresh greens at a harvest table under a covered tent. Jill led tours of her steel raised beds, greenhouse, and custom she-shed, inspiring many to reimagine their own spaces.

Finding Our Roots in Community
Our Round Top experience perfectly captured Garden Girls' mission. We're about fostering connections—to history through vintage pieces, to stories through shared experiences, and to community through meaningful events.
As we packed up and said goodbye, I felt grateful for these days that reminded us why we started Garden Girls: to celebrate the joy of working with soil and sharing that joy with others.
Until fall, Round Top. We'll return for more treasures and memories in your fields of inspiration.
