Our favorite garden tools

Looking for an excellent garden gift? Look no further than our favorite garden tools.  Since we spend SO much time digging, planting, tending, harvesting… it makes sense that we spill our guts on the things we can’t live without!

We’ve linked our favorite items in our Amazon storefront. You can click, buy and enjoy all without leaving your couch (but we want you to leave your couch to get in there and garden up!).

Here’s my overview on what you need and why:

  1. A good hori hori.  It’s the most versatile of all gardening tools and the one we grab first! Hori is the Japanese word meaning “to dig” but it’s usefulness expands far beyond digging.  It’s a knife, trowel, bulb planter and saw in one.  Grab our favorite HERE.

  2. Snips.  While there are plenty of options when it comes to pruning shears and clippers, we prefer needle or straight nose snips.  Corona makes an excellent product and our favorite can be purchased HERE.

  3. A pretty and functional harvest basket.  The wide base is perfect for holding a big harvest.  It’s comfortable to hold and pretty to display.  This basket frequently sells out so grab it if available! Linked HERE.

  4. We love this seed storage kit.  Truth be told, it’s actually for photo organization but we love how many compartments it has!  You can organize by season or alphabetically, or by plant type~ whatever floats your boat.  Every time we post about seeds, we receive tons of messages asking what this clever seed storage box is.  Ta-Da!!! Secret’s out.  Grab it HERE.

There are lots of other products that we use and love linked in our storefront.  We’d love to hear about which products you find most useful.  Oh, and our cute gingham apron?  It’s available in our storefront too!  We love a good garden apron and if we can also dress up a bit, we’re IN.

Happy shopping!
