The Butterfly Effect: Small details, big impact!

The butterfly effect is a metaphor for how small habits can lead to significant life changes. For the three of us, gardening sparked that change and led to a deeply rooted friendship and newfound career. The butterfly, our logo, is a reminder that transformation continues to occur within us every single day.

A trip to Round Top led us to the brand, Down Clover Lane. We had stumbled into a highly sought after air-conditioned boutique at the end of a long day of shopping. There before our eyes was the preppiest blouse we had seen! Jill, Nicole and I immediately loved the blouses because they featured different Texas animals and motifs above the pockets. The fabric was soft and comfortable, the fit tailored, and the dreamy pearl snap buttons were icing on the cake. The only thing missing was our signature butterfly!

After reaching out to the owners of Down Clover Lane, we found out that we shared similar stories as founders. DCL is owned by two Texas besties who were inspired to rock Life 2.0. Like us, they believe in celebrating ‘life’s everyday moments.’ Also like us, they are committed to supporting local craftsmanship and empowering women with their gorgeous designs. We couldn’t wait to collab!

After months of behind the scenes work, we’re proud and excited to showcase our new limited edition ‘Garden Girl’ pearl snap blouse, featuring an embroidered butterfly. The blue on blue POPS when paired with denim, a cute skirt, or comfy shorts. It’s versatile enough for every day but polished enough for an evening out. From Round Top to Rodeo, from carpool to cocktails~ this is going to be your new favorite top!

The best part? It’s made with breathable UPF 50, moisture wicking fabric to keep your skin protected during even the harshest summer days. Throw it in the washer & dryer… no big deal! This top is made to wear, wash and repeat. Proudly made in Texas by women, for women. Limited quantities so don’t dilly dally. Treat yourself and click HERE.

The butterfly signifies freedom, joy, beauty and serves as a reminder to embrace change; find lightness and appreciate nature’s wonders. We celebrate you, our Garden Girls and friends, for finding joy and embracing the small moments that matter each day.

Life is short. Wear the shirt.
